La patrouille CEF est reconnue comme étant une unité volontaire, non payée, dans le but d'aider et de fournir un support aux utilisateurs des sentiers du CEF.  Le but premier des patrouilleurs est d'être poli  et courtois.  Notre mission est de fournir les services volontaires aux utilisateurs des sentiers dont les premiers soins, l'orientation, les cartes des sentiers, ainsi qu'une patrouille sécuritaire  dans le réseau des sentiers du CEF.  C'est également un lien entre le conseil du CEF et les utilisateurs des sentiers.  LES CAVALIERS PATROUILLEURS N'ONT PAS L'AUTORITÉ D'APPLIQUER LA LOI, sauf les patrouilleurs qui sont accrédités par la Ville de Saint-Lazare à donner les infractions concernant la réglementation dans la Pinière. 

 

The CEF PATROL is a volunteer, non-paid, unit for the purpose of aiding and providing support to users of the trails of the CEF.  The main function of the patroller is to be a courteous and friendly volunteer of the CEF.  It is the mission of the CEF PATROL to provide volunteer services to trail users, such as first aid, orientation, trail maps, and safety patrol in the network of trails of the CEF.  It is also are a link between the CEF Council and the trail users.  PATROL RIDERS DO NOT HAVE LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY, with exception to those sworn in by the City of Saint-Lazare to give By-law infractions in the Pinière.
